Job Summary |
Lakeridge Systems Group has a number of clients with various versions of Microsoft SharePoint Server. Several projects are currently underway that require the configuration of SharePoint sites, along with custom-developed web parts and other technical components. During this 3-month contract, the Senior .NET & SharePoint Developer will be required to work with different clients in different technical environments. All work can be done remotely, although a local implementation of SharePoint 2007 and 2010 are required for development and testing. |
Responsibilities |
- Turning business requirements into technical specifications
- Understanding user interface concepts
- Working with a graphic designer and project manager in order to complete assignments according to the clients’ requirements
- Designing sound and secure SharePoint-based solutions
- Developing custom SharePoint and/or .NET modules to integrate with SharePoint 2007 and 2010
- Unit testing of all custom coding
- Developer and integration testing of all developed components
- Code deployment preparation and installation guides
- Deployment and support

Qualifications & Attributes |
- Minimum 4-year University degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years working experience as a SharePoint Developer
- Minimum 5 years working experience as a .NET developer
- Microsoft certification under the SharePoint and/or .NET platform(s)
- Proven experience in delivering robust, efficient end-to-end solutions to clients
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying SharePoint based solutions
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail

Additional Desired Skills |
- Experience using graphic design tools, such as Adobe CS4/CS5
- Experience upgrading from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 environments
