| Job Summary |
Lakeridge Systems Group's client is a major Financial Institution in the Canadian market with a mature installation of the FIS Profile banking system. Many projects are underway, including an upgrade/consolidation of multiple banking systems. It is required that we provide an experienced Profile developer to augment the client's existing team of full-time, contract and vendor developers/architects within the banking system team. |
| Responsibilities |
- Understanding banking-related business requirements and converting into technical specifications
- Development of MRPCs and native Profile functionality under the 5.x, 6.x and 7.x platforms
- Unit testing of custom developed components
- Work with a team of Java developers to provide integration MRPCs
- Work with the Profile Technical Lead/Architect to develop custom components based on detailed and/or high level specifications
- Work with the Testing Lead(s) to help understand business and technical elements of the banking system
- Conduct peer code review
- Assist with code deployment within a source control system

| Qualifications & Attributes |
- Minimum 4-year University degree in computer science or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years working experience with Profile 5.x and 6.x
- Experience working within the Canadian financial services industry
- Excellent understanding of the GT.M database
- Proficient in MUMPS programming language
- Expert knowledge of Deposit and Lending lines of business within the Canadian banking industry
- Expert knowledge of banking processes, products and services
- Expert knowledge of core banking products and transactions within the Profile architecture
- Expert knowledge of transactional behaviour, interest calculations, loan amortization and other product-related features within the Profile banking system(s)
- Expert knowledge of various aspects of the Profile day-end process
- Experience in developing custom batch processes within Profile
- Experience with Profile product setup, configuration and customization
- Proven experience in delivering robust, efficient end-to-end solutions to clients
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, testing and deploying Profile solutions
- Strong customer service orientation
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
